Every other shower: Let's all use the same 150mm pipe centres Mira: naaah fam. I'm going with that 50mm centre to centre look. So if aaaaaanyyyyything goes wrong, they need to come back crawling to me. Other showers: ...but what if you discontinue the 50mm range...? Mira: ...🤷‍♂️... sounds like someone else's problem Ps. These things are hopeless because the lip isn't flush with the shower tray so there's basically a permanent moat around it that doesn't drain. Whenever you've been to the beach this fills up with sand so you end up with a visible grubby ring of sand and other dirt sitting permanently around your waste. With our old shower sand and mud used to just easily wash straight down the drain, but with this useless thing you have to get down on your knees and swish it all out with an old toothbrush every time. Pathetic design. Also it's impossible to get the shiny plastic cap back on unless again you're grovelling on your knees with your head on the wet shower tray to see under it and it feels extremely flimsy. Disappointing.

I have one exactly the same only the hose won’t unscrew from the shower box, I had to call an engineer to open it, just to change the hose. 😕

Hi we have a Mira advanced atl thermostatic shower. We need to fit a new hose on a already used shower. Can I just fit it normally. The manual shows what looks like priming the solenoid and heater can. Is only for brand new never used showers.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Major design flaw with flimsy button design AND poor fitting between the fascia and backplate mean the stuck button issue will happen eventually. It's not a fitter error, it's cost cutting by the new owners of Mira. Trash product. You have been warned.

I have a Smartap shower which has failed...and am considering replacing with one of these. The Smartap is currently fitted using JG Speedfit pipework which I was hoping to reuse. Is the use of speedfit definitely not recommended?

My Shower has been broken down and very difficult to find the spare parts with Mira. Seriously thinking of getting a ceiling feed shower currently have a open vented heating system will this help with the pressure. My electric shower if run from tank.

Save yourself from terrible showers and do NOT buy this shower. It is terrible, in the winter you might aswell just have a shower under the garden tap, you'd get more water out of that. The pressure from this shower is horrendous. If you're on a budget, get a redring bright shower, that was my old one and was brilliant.
